We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload delivery vehicles and containers
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Review and verify orders before delivery
- Use handheld devices to confirm deliveries
- Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules
- Maintain cleanliness of the delivery van
- Conduct risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van
- Adhere to traffic and transportation regulations
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Pick orders and prepare them for delivery
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Full driving licence
- Good geographical knowledge
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in manual handling
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet targets and work well in a team
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required
- Willingness to undertake any necessary training
