Job Overview: Manufacturing Inspector Lead

The Manufacturing Inspector Lead is responsible for conducting detailed inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process items, and finished products, ensuring compliance to Engineering print & Engineering Standards. This role requires close collaboration with production teams to resolve quality issues in real-time, maintaining a safe working environment, and upholding company standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process items, and finished products, ensuring compliance to Engineering print & Engineering Standards.
  • Document inspection results, highlighting any deviations from specifications and communicating findings to relevant teams for corrective action.
  • Closely work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues in real-time, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should bring:
  • GCSE Maths and English is essential.
  • Minimum of 3 A Levels grade C or above.
  • Significant work experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Substantial understanding of ISO 9001.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively share information with colleagues.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in quality documentation and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £62,000 per annum.
