About the Role

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Cardiology to join the Cardiology team at the Bristol Heart Institute. This 12-month fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, resuscitate, and stabilise acutely sick patients
  • Participate as a member of the cardiac arrest team
  • Understand audit and governance processes

Requirements

  • Registered with the General Medical Council (UK)
  • Advanced life support provider
  • Evidence of entitlement to live and work in the UK

About the Department

The Bristol Heart Institute provides secondary and tertiary cardiac services in a purpose-built environment. The department has 3 cardiology wards, 5 dedicated catheterisation labs, and provides Cardiology services for the population of South Bristol and North Somerset, as well as tertiary referrals from the Avon, Gloucester, Wiltshire, and Somerset Cardiac Network.
