Maintenance Operations Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Maintenance Operations Technician to join our team at St John's CE Primary Academy. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school building and grounds.
This is a permanent position, with opportunities for job sharing arrangements to split between morning and afternoon shifts. The shift patterns are as follows:
- Morning Shift: 7am - 9am, Monday to Friday (10 hours per week)
- Afternoon Shift: 3pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday (15 hours per week) with potential for some evening locking up duties
The successful candidate will work all year round, with annual leave entitlement provided. Salary: £24,404 per annum pro rata (£12 per hour).
Job DescriptionAs a Maintenance Operations Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Being a key holder and responding to emergency call-outs
- Opening and closing the premises, ensuring security and safety protocols are in place
- Liaising with staff and contractors to maintain a safe and compliant site
