Turf and Gardens Specialist

HL Services (London) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Turf and Gardens Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of ground conditions, ensuring the safety of players and spectators alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing irrigation systems, including testing hoses and taps daily.
  • Daily maintenance of the gardens and lawns around the clubhouse, ensuring they are always presentable and well-maintained.
  • Checking the ground boards before matches are played, and re-grading the riding tracks after severe rainfall.
  • Providing logistic services to the clubhouse, including emptying trailers at Flemish Farm daily during the season and weekly during the off-season.
Requirements
  • An estimated salary of £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • A strong background in horticulture and turf management, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of grounds staff.
  • Possession of relevant qualifications, including NVQ 3 or HND in a related topic.
  • A valid PA1, 2, and 6 spraying licenses, as well as a driving license and computer literacy.
