Your new role at Hays Careers will focus on providing support to children with special needs, as well as wider support with the class as directed by the class teacher. You will work alongside class teachers and your new colleagues to promote a stimulating, inclusive, and accessible learning environment and offer 1:1 and group support in all subjects. Key responsibilities include intervention and booster sessions, phonics, classroom management, behaviour management and building the self-esteem of your new pupils.
Requirements- Experience of successfully supporting Primary age pupils - relevant qualifications and/or experience of working with children.
- A clear understanding of appropriate professional relationships and protocols when working with pupils and parents.
- A willingness to undertake additional training as requested
- An ability to work as a team alongside the Class Teacher and other Teaching Assistants
