Brasserie Zédel, a renowned restaurant in Soho, is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a leading member of the kitchen, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook seasonal classic European cuisine, using quality fresh ingredients, to meet our exacting standards.
- Work as part of the wider kitchen management team to run our busy service, maintaining company standards and promoting a culture of teamwork and creativity.
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including ordering stock, stock control, people management, and development.
Requirements
- Experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a similar kitchen environment and/or hospitality setting.
- Excellent knowledge of classical cooking techniques and in-depth product knowledge.
- Proficient in Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation.
