The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned maintenance tasks across a diverse portfolio of sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out reactive tasks assigned to you via the Help Desk, ensuring compliance with company standards and reaction times.
  • Achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs) set by the Account Manager, working in conjunction with Supervisors.
  • Carrying out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) in a timely fashion and in line with our daily working procedures.
  • Maintaining knowledge of HVAC systems, primarily Gas / Steam / Mechanical.
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained, ordering required stock to ensure sites continue to operate.
  • Completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Complying with company Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
  • Carrying out plumbing works of all types.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years post-apprenticeship experience in a trade and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an FM or building services maintenance position.
  • Commercial ACS is desirable but not essential.
  • BOAS is desirable.
