About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maths Teacher to join our team at Long Term Futures Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4 students. You will differentiate lesson content to meet a wide range of student needs and abilities, ensuring that all students have access to high-quality education.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to both KS3 and KS4 students, incorporating the school's assessment framework.
- Differentiate lesson content to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
- Deliver KS4 examination content in line with the school's examination board.
- Liaise with the SENCO to ensure the progress of students with special educational needs.
- Participate in weekly department meetings to contribute to driving forward the school's attainment levels.
- Be involved in the school's pastoral system, taking ownership of a form or tutor group and delivering the school's pastoral curriculum.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to hold qualified teacher status (ECTs welcome) and be confident teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5 curriculum (KS5 not essential). You will also require excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies, as well as a passion for teaching and a commitment to ensuring student progress.
