Internal Communications and Event Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications and Event Manager to join our team at VMA GROUP. Our client, a leading international interim, contract, temporary, and permanent recruitment and executive search specialist, is looking for an experienced professional to manage internal communications and events that drive employee engagement and morale.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement an effective internal communications strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Plan and coordinate internal events, activations, and campaigns to increase employee engagement and encourage two-way conversations between leaders and colleagues.
  • Manage event logistics, including the events calendar, vendor relationships, and budgeting.
  • Promote internal events and activations through various internal communications channels.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and colleagues to bring engagement activations and events to life, ensuring alignment with wider IC activities and the People Strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in internal communications and events management to continuously improve strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging event experiences that drive employee morale and engagement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, allocation, and tracking expenses.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure resources within budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Apply a strategic and creative internal comms lens when developing activations and events, ensuring they support the wider communications plans.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure the success of events and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
