Job Title: Procurement & Buying Specialist

MM Flowers is seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Buying Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products arrive on time, in full, and to the specification required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Procurement Manager in setting up and maintaining systems, prices, forecasts, product codes, and mechanics for each supplier.
  • Send QC reports to suppliers and place orders with growers to meet customer needs while minimizing waste.
  • Manage consignments in the system to ensure they are updated with confirmed farm availability and packing lists.
  • Work with Technical to correct quality concerns immediately.
  • Attend internal design feasibility meetings and advise NPD, commercial, and technical teams on product availability and potential challenges.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in FMCG is desirable.
  • Previous experience in the flower industry would be advantageous.
  • High level of IT literacy with extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power-Bi.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
