Residential Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Rochester. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in encouraging and motivating children to develop life skills, participate in leisure activities, and engage in educational and social opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high standards of care, protection, and support to children and young people.
- Facilitate physical, psychological, emotional, and recreational development in line with individual care plans.
- Organise, plan, and take responsibility for daily activities and routines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and children, verbally and in writing.
- Motivate, aid, and guide children in their self-development.
- Set appropriate examples for children at all times.
- Listen and respond responsibly with sensitivity.
- Manage children who display disruptive or challenging behaviour.

Requirements:
- Hold or be willing to achieve a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People.
- Be prepared to work early, late, and night shifts (including sleepovers) on a rota basis.
- Be over the age of 21.
