Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to cover maternity leave in the National Amyloidosis Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing outpatient clinics, and supervising a team of Nursing Assistants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Placement of indwelling peripheral venous lines for intravenous administration of radio labelled SAP tracer and blood sampling.
  • Responsible for all aspects of patient care, including assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of direct patient care.
  • Support the Lead nurse/Clinic Sister to monitor the safety and quality of care for patients.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of outpatient clinics.
  • Supervise a group of Nursing Assistants and assign delegated tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training and appraisal requirements for Nursing Assistants.
  • Ensure a positive focused service incorporating patients' feedback to maintain and improve patient care.
