We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Principal Lead at Keir Hardie Primary School & Nursery Class in North Lanarkshire.
About the RoleThis is a temporary position to 13/10/2025, working a combination of shifts, including Week 1: 8am - 3pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading early years practitioners in working with children aged 3 to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of early years practitioners
- Develop and implement effective strategies for child development and education
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Support the transformational change programme and contribute to inspirational leadership
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of leading early years practitioners
- Hold or work towards a BA in Childhood Practice or an equivalent childcare degree
- Be child-centred and have an understanding of child development
