Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Soldering Manufacturing Technician to join our Industrial team at Thales OME in Glasgow, UK. This role involves performing complex manufacturing operations and adhering to company processes to deliver high-quality products.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to work closely with our team members, Work Cell Manager, and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver outputs from relevant work cells as per business requirements. You will be responsible for performing self-assessment and approval of products, inputting and supporting continuous improvement actions, and detecting faults or non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To perform complex manufacturing operations in accordance with associated documentation provided to quality standards expected in a timely and professional manner.
  • To adhere to defined company processes when carrying out all tasks.
  • To perform self-assessment and approval of products.
  • To input and support any continuous improvement actions being worked on within Industry.
  • To be able to detect any fault or non-compliance and if necessary raise the alert. In addition when able should contribute to diagnostics and the finding of the cause/root analysis.
  • To manage and record build configuration of product.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
