We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Hill Street Children's Centre to produce high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks for up to 108 children each day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare menus that meet nutritional guidelines and are high-quality, allowing young bodies to thrive both mentally and physically.
  • Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with relevant Food Safety regulations.
  • Manage menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering, and control.
  • Ensure dietary and allergy-safe requirements are met.

Requirements

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a Cook role.
  • A current Working with Children's Check/Blue Card/DCSI Clearance and First Aid.
  • Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
