About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a Team Lead role within our Medical and Elderly Therapy Team at Lister Hospital in Stevenage.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and experience in team leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and services to patients.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical and professional leadership to a team of qualified staff and technical instructors, attending operational and service-related meetings, and taking a lead role in the assessment and treatment of medical and elderly patients.

You will also be responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating OT interventions, undertaking a clinical caseload to a high professional standard, and contributing to the wider Therapy service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and professional leadership to a team of qualified staff and technical instructors
  • Attend operational and service-related meetings as a representative of OT and Therapy Services
  • Take a lead role in the assessment and treatment of medical and elderly patients
  • Plan, coordinate, and evaluate OT interventions
  • Undertake a clinical caseload to a high professional standard
