We are looking for a dedicated Plant Engineer to join our team in Tipton. As a rotational shifts-based role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant, equipment, and facilities.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £45,680, with a competitive hourly rate of £20.00 per hour (day shift) and a 30% night shift premium (£26.00 per hour).

Your primary responsibilities will include performing regular inspections of plant and equipment, developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and conducting fault diagnosis and repair tasks to minimize downtime.

You will also be required to collaborate with other teams to achieve daily targets, maintain a safe working environment, and comply with health and safety policies. Additionally, you will need to communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure the successful completion of projects.

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, with City & Guilds Level 3 certification or equivalent experience. Experience with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office is also essential.
