Sweet Artisan required for Apex Hotels Ltd in Edinburgh. This exciting role involves operating the entire Pastry station, preparing items for Restaurant and Events that have requested specific pastry requirements.

Main responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef to ensure the correct preparation of pastry.
• Crafting high-quality pastry and desserts for the Restaurant, Function Rooms and Room Service.
• Driving performance standards to maximise food sales.
• Supporting the team in other areas of the kitchen.
• Implementing health and safety procedures and adhering to hygiene regulations.
• Designing menus, ordering supplies and assisting with staff development within the team.

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum is available for this dynamic opportunity.

The successful candidate must be able to lead by example, possess excellent attention to detail, be self-motivated and be a team player, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
