Junior Sister/Charge Nurse Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead by example, demonstrating excellent clinical skills and leadership abilities while providing high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure seamless patient care
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, develop individualized plans, and implement effective interventions
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing sustainable solutions
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and trust standards
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Band 5 nurse in a similar setting, with strong understanding of child development and behavior
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
* Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and guidelines in pediatric nursing
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively
Salary and Benefits
East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary of £31,365 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments, and access to staff health and wellbeing programme.
