Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at Prime Appointments. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating manual and 2-axis CNC lathes to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating manual and CNC lathes to produce components in various materials, including aluminium, steel, brass, and plastic.
  • Repairing tooling against engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Inspecting incoming goods and tooling to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications to produce components.
  • Performing drilling, tapping, polishing, and other tasks as required.
  • Cleaning and maintaining machines at the end of each day.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with manual and 2-axis CNC lathes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
