Drainage Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team at Liberty Group Investments Ltd. As a Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our drainage systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair all aspects of drainage systems, including CCTV surveys and digs.
  • Conduct digs to identify and rectify leaks in our drainage systems.
  • Perform all aspects of groundwork duties, including removing, relaying, and laying new flag work.
  • Identify and rectify defects in our groundwork.
  • Remove, prepare, and lay new concrete paths and ramps.
Requirements:
  • Hold GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Have experience and competence in all aspects of drainage engineering and ground worker discipline, with a full set of appropriate tools.
  • Ideal candidates will hold a WJA qualification to enable safe use and supervision of high-pressure water jetting equipment for cleaning purposes.
  • Experience working within a social housing environment is desirable.
