Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team at Suffolk Primary Care. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients on the practice list, including assessment, advice, screening, and treatment. You will work autonomously and undertake a range of duties, including cervical cytology, chronic disease management, and immunisations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing services to patients, including assessment, advice, and treatment.
  • Work autonomously and undertake a range of duties, including cervical cytology, chronic disease management, and immunisations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Current NMC registration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to check and re-check work to ensure high levels of accuracy.
  • Ability to work on repetitive and regular tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to escalate problems/issues as required.
