An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join our dynamic team at Nairn Town & County Hospital.

The post is interesting and varied in nature, providing a generic Adult Social Work service across the Nairn area.

We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner, who has experience of working with people with a wide range of needs and who is person centred and outcome focused in their approach.

The Team is busy but supportive, and is looking for a qualified individual who can work autonomously but also effectively as part of a social work team and wider integrated team to deliver safe and effective social work practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing essential statutory functions
  • Working with individuals, families, carers and wider communities to complete person centred outcome focused assessments
  • Dealing with and managing complex situations and risk
  • Working effectively in a multi-disciplinary way
