Cleaning Assistant - Dunblane Library

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Dunblane Library. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality cleaning service to our library.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional cleaning services to the library, including cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment.
  • Operate cleaning machinery, including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers, and vacuum cleaners.
  • Work independently to maintain a clean and safe environment for library users.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning operation.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy items and work at heights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children and adults.
