Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Professional to join their Adult Service team in Bath. As an Approved Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To work as part of the Adult Service team, undertaking Mental Health Act assessments and providing expert advice to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers, social services, and other agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • To participate in staff development programs and contribute to the promotion of specialist skills within the team.
  • To coordinate assessments under the Mental Health Act, working closely with doctors, police, and other services to ensure effective outcomes.
  • To provide consultation and advice to Nearest Relatives, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and the patient's rights.
  • To identify and address carers' needs, referring them for formal assessment as necessary.
  • To maintain accurate records of Mental Health Act assessments and other statutory work, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • To take responsibility for personal development, attending training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
