Clinical Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Assessment Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physiotherapist to utilize their clinical expertise in a unique and challenging role.
The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, conducting assessments and producing detailed reports that inform the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) decision-making process.
As a Clinical Assessment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge and skills while working with complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions.
A tailored training programme will be provided to ensure your success in this role. You will also have access to ongoing support and mentorship from experienced colleagues.
- Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
- Produce high-quality Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports that meet the DWP's standards.
- Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with computer software and ability to produce detailed reports.
- Competitive salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience).
