Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual who can provide top-notch medical care and support to our student-athletes. As an Athletic Medicine Professional, you will be responsible for creating a safe and healthy environment for all student-athletes within the athletic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive and supportive environment for student-athletes
  • Provide medical care and treatment to student-athletes
  • Assist in emergency situations and respond to medical emergencies
  • Work collaboratively with coaches and other staff members to promote a culture of health and wellness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college
  • Certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA)
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Licensed by the Board of Medicine
  • Valid Virginia Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a related field
  • Experience working in a college or university setting

Salary: The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location: Virginia State University, located in Ettrick, VA
