Job Summary

The Clinical Support Worker role is a key position within the Learning Disability CAMHS Service, which provides treatment intervention for young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities and co-morbid mental health, behavioral, or neurodevelopmental differences.

Main Duties

Clinical Support Workers will undertake a range of activities to support the work of the team, including implementing positive behavioral support plans, conducting home visits, and supporting young people and their families in outpatient appointments. This role requires minimal supervision, with clinicians working under the direction of senior clinicians, including nurses, psychologists, and medical team members.
