Job Overview:

Chace People is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeper to join our team in a prestigious Central West London townhouse. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position that requires someone who is energetic, capable, and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive housekeeping services, including daily cleaning, laundry, and ironing, to maintain the household's cleanliness and high standards.
  • Manage housekeeping expenditures and budgeting for the household, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for the family, demonstrating excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.
  • Keep accurate records of housekeeping expenditures and submit invoices weekly to the family office.
  • Report necessary repairs or maintenance and provide access to contractors, ensuring the property is secure and well-maintained.
  • Assist the Chef as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English language skills, with fluency in Portuguese a bonus.
  • Formal background in housekeeping, with experience in large, formally run households.
  • Tech-savvy, with knowledge of alarm systems and computer literacy.
  • Able to work well with other household staff, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with laundry, packing, and unpacking, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Total confidentiality and discretion are essential, as this role requires a high level of trust and reliability.

Additional Information:

This is a dynamic working environment that requires a Housekeeper who is used to large spaces and can work well as part of a team. While the contract is fixed-term for 12 months initially, there is potential for the role to become permanent. More will be discussed with successful applicants.
