**Job Summary:** Cardiac Services Director

**Estimated Salary:** £100,000 - £130,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Services Director to lead our Cardiology Service at Duchy Hospital in Truro. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, including staff management, patient care, and clinical decision-making.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiology, with experience in leading teams and managing complex cases. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

The role includes:

• Managing the Cardiology Service, including staff supervision and performance management
• Leading clinical meetings and contributing to service development
• Providing expert advice on cardiac cases and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and auditing clinical practices
