About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at VANRATH. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with pumps, motors, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in industrial settings.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in mechanical systems and equipment, skilled in troubleshooting and repair, familiar with CMMS and mechanical drawings.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications preferred.
  • Other: Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills, able to work in industrial environments.
