About the Job

This Chip Design Optimization Engineer position is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of chip design at Arm. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing power and cohesiveness of Arm's solutions, as well as evolving our next-generation flows.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of power management techniques and low-power design methodologies, proficiency in writing and verifying UPF (Unified Power Format), experience with low power design techniques, and algorithmic thinking with well-tested programming ability in Tcl, Make, and Linux shell.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and verify power intent for system level designs and SoCs.
  2. Deliver accurate results across a range of technology nodes.
  3. Collaborate with chip design partners to support their physical implementation success.
  4. Develop new methodologies to improve implementation efficiency and results.
  5. Convert ground-breaking R&D concepts into real solutions.
