Job Opportunity

Smith's Ltd is seeking a skilled Drainage Technician to join our team.

We offer comprehensive training for individuals with an interest in this field, regardless of prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CCTV Drain Inspections
  • High Pressure Water Jetting (Root Cutting, De-Greasing, Sewer Cleaning)
  • Manhole Inspections
  • Confined Space Entry
  • A mix of commercial, industrial, and domestic projects

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving license; a Class 2 tanker license is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality results
  • A proactive attitude, with flexibility to work overtime as needed (we aim to maintain 'sociable' hours, but some jobs require travel)
  • Capacity to work alone or as part of a team
  • A professional approach to health and safety
  • Ability to learn new systems and attention to paperwork
  • Physical fitness and experience with manual labor

Licenses/Certifications:

  • CSCS (Preferred)
  • Driving License (Required)
  • HGV License (Desirable)
  • NADC (Desirable)
  • Confined Space (Desirable)
  • First Aid at Work (Desirable)
  • Cat & Genny Cable Avoidance (Desirable)
  • NRSWA (Desirable)
  • WJA (Desirable)
