About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Play Assistant to join our childcare team at Twinkle Stars, a Flying Start childcare setting in Cardiff. As a Play Assistant, you will play a key part in providing engaging and fun play experiences for children aged 0-3 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement play activities that promote children's learning and development
  • Work collaboratively with the childcare team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality childcare
Requirements
  • Qualification in Children's Care, Learning/Play & Development (CCLD minimum Level 3)
  • Experience working with children aged 0-3 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
