Internal Sales Executive / Business Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive / Business Developer to join our team at Alexander Chapel. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and driving business growth in the construction and building market sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the public sector, including social housing providers, local authorities, and education authorities
  • Generate new sales leads and opportunities through proactive outreach and follow-up
  • Collaborate with internal teams to extend and refine our database of potential customers
  • Represent the company at exhibitions and other external events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the construction or building products sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of sales targets
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
