About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a supportive and dynamic environment.

  • You will work closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to provide high-quality support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Provide targeted interventions and strategies to help students overcome their challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing one-to-one and group support to students with SEN.
  • Collaborating with teachers to create personalized learning plans and track student progress.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting regularly to teachers and parents.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience working with students with SEN.
  • Proven experience supporting students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and related policies and procedures.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in SEN support.
