About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cover across the school, leading lessons or pre-planned cover, and general support where required.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse needs, including autism and complex needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive atmosphere.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans.
Requirements
