Our client, a leading foundry in Bury St Edmunds, is seeking a skilled Casting Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing cast parts for a diverse range of customers and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Finishing castings to a high standard through de-burring, cutting, and grinding
* Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety protocols
* Performing general maintenance tasks to ensure efficient production
Requirements:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Willingness to learn and develop skills in general maintenance
Working Hours and Pay:
* 37-hour week, Monday to Thursday, 5:30am to 3:00pm
* Competitive hourly rate of £11.50
