Restaurant Shift Manager Job Description

At Tim Hortons, we're looking for a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales in our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service in all areas of restaurant operations, ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
  • Team Support: Support the restaurant team to maintain operational efficiency, conduct regular store walks, and provide feedback to team members on performance.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance management when necessary, working with the HR Department to ensure employee growth and development.
  • Driving Sales: Analyze sales data, popular products, and peak trade times to adjust sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Inventory Management: Manage weekly stock orders, ensure quality control, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a high level of food hygiene and food safety, reporting any incidents or accidents to the Regional Manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a range of hours, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
