Job Title: Toddler Nursery Room Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Toddler Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for creating a secure, inclusive, and fun environment that nurtures the well-being and development of our young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a range of age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support the holistic development of toddlers.
  • Provide leadership, inspiration, and guidance to nursery staff to maintain an environment of high-quality care and education.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of every toddler.
  • Ensure impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, safety, and hygiene within the toddler nursery room to provide a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with parents, actively contributing to the enhancement of nursery programs and practices through open communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Early Years or above.
  • Proven leadership experience as a Nursery Room Leader, with a focus on toddlers, and a deep understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Profound knowledge of child development principles and a passion for play-based learning experiences to facilitate the growth and development of toddlers.
  • Dedication to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursery environment.
  • Desirable possession of First Aid and Safeguarding training certifications to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our care.
