Electrical Test Engineer

CMR & Life Sciences Careers is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in Hook, Hampshire. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment meets high standards before it reaches our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning and Testing: Commission products within required dates and to the highest quality standards.
  • Initial Testing: Conduct initial testing alongside commissioning on designated products.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all build procedures are followed and report on any required changes for future builds.
  • System Assembly and QA: System assembly and QA testing for customer orders ready for shipment.
  • Record Keeping: Record and update documentation associated with QA and customer orders.
  • Equipment Repair and Calibration: Evaluate and conduct repairs on returned equipment and systems.
  • Calibrations and Sanity Checks: Perform in-house calibrations and sanity checks.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Liaise with Geotechnical Systems Engineers to develop testing capabilities and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Procedure Development and Implementation: Prepare, maintain, and implement internal and external technical procedures.
  • Problem Solving and Debugging: Debug and problem solve issues with products both in-house and in the field.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure safe working practices in line with Health and Safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems and testing procedures.
