About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Risk Manager to join our team at Police Digital Service.

As a key member of our National Management Centre, you will be responsible for effective representation of the NMC to multiple external stakeholders.

Your primary goal will be to ensure that the NMC and its stakeholders have regular, effective dialogue and communication.

You will also need to demonstrate the value of NMC services to multiple stakeholders, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how to consume and interact with these services.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that relevant stakeholder feedback is provided to the NMC in an accurate and timely manner, enabling continuous service improvement.

Additionally, you will assist in the development of internal processes, procedures, and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective representation of the NMC to multiple external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the NMC and stakeholders have regular, effective dialogue and communication.
  • Demonstrating the value of NMC services to multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensuring stakeholders have a clear understanding of NMC services including how to consume and interact with NMC services.
  • Ensuring relevant stakeholder feedback is provided to the NMC in an accurate and timely manner, to enable continuous service improvement.
  • Assisting in development of internal processes, procedures and policies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to focus and multi-task effectively manage own workload.
  • Approachable attitude and comfortable meeting new people and building rapport.
  • A genuine passion for maintaining high quality support to our stakeholders.
  • Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPVV3) and Security Check (SC Clearance) required as part of the role and must be maintained during tenure.
  • Will require a full, valid driving license and use of a vehicle to undertake business travel where appropriate.

Benefits

  • £55,000-£60,000 per annum salary.
  • 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 30 days after 5 years of service.
  • Flexible working hours - core hours of 8 to 6, Monday to Friday (37hr week).
