Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and personable graduate to join our primary school in Oxford as a teaching assistant. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to gain more classroom experience before pursuing their career as a primary teacher.

The successful candidate will be supporting a Year 2 class, focusing on SATS preparation in numeracy and literacy. A strong academic background and previous experience working with children are desirable but not essential.

This role requires someone who is able to build upon their knowledge and confidence before pursuing their career as a primary teacher. The ideal candidate will have a degree graded 2:1 or above, although this can be considered from graduates with lower grades if they have relevant experience.

A Maths/Number related subject is highly desirable for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting a Year 2 class in SATS preparation
  • Focusing on numeracy and literacy development
  • Becoming part of a dedicated team at our primary school in Oxford
