Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical interventions as needed.
  • Supervise and train care assistants to ensure they are providing high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience working in a care home setting, preferably with a dementia specialty
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
