Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Notaro Care Homes. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical interventions as needed.
- Supervise and train care assistants to ensure they are providing high-quality care and support to residents.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience working in a care home setting, preferably with a dementia specialty
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
