A challenging opportunity exists for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Mactech Energy Group team at Hinkley Point C, a nuclear site in Somerset. This is a long-term contract with full-time working hours, Monday to Friday.

Job Overview
Mactech Energy Group is constructing two major EPR nuclear plants at Hinkley Point C. We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial activities, supervise junior team members, and support the Commercial Manager/Project Manager to maintain margins and manage risks.

Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial activities and contractual notifications (EWNs, CEs)
- Maintain notification registers and prepare CE quotations
- Support contractual programmes and Applications for Payment
- Manage subcontractor relationships, including contract drafting and administration
- Supervise junior team members and support their development
- Undertake project reporting, including forecasting and CVRs
- Optimize profitability and minimize company liabilities
- Manage valuation and invoicing processes

Requirements
- Experience in the nuclear industry
- Evidence of risk and change management
- Essential: Minimum HNC or equivalent in engineering, quantity surveying, or similar
- CCNSG certification (Mandatory - training can be provided)

Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of £350-£545 per day, depending on the pay route (inside IR35 only), plus excellent benefits. The contract is full-time, Monday to Friday, and will provide an opportunity to grow your career with a large organisation.

Working Conditions
The role is based on-site at Hinkley Point C, with a full-time contract lasting for a long-term period. As a member of the Mactech Energy Group team, you will have access to professional development opportunities and work closely with experienced professionals in the nuclear industry.
