Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Traffic Management Operative to join our team at Breedon Group plc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management equipment on highways and low-speed roads, ensuring compliance with company policies and national standards.


Main Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management equipment, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and traffic lights.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and national highways sector schemes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective traffic management plans to minimize disruptions to traffic flow.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Lantra-approved 12D or 12 A/B certifications.
  • Experience working on highways and in the construction industry.
  • Full UK Clean Driver's License and HGV License (desirable).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, night shifts, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
