We are looking for a skilled Accounts and Finance Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finances of our company, including bank reconciliations, accounts management, credit control, purchasing, and expense processing.

About the Job:

As a key member of our finance team, you will work closely with our Finance Manager to ensure the smooth financial operations of our company. You will also collaborate across departments to ensure the smooth running of the finance team.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,500 per annum, 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and office perks. If you have experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar position and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  2. Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices.
  3. Credit Control: Take charge of credit control, working proactively to resolve any payment issues.
  4. Purchasing: Manage purchasing and ensure accurate invoicing, with approvals from the Finance Manager.
  5. Liaison: Liaise with subcontractors on an ad-hoc basis to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
  6. Expense Processing: Process company expenses and credit cards.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar position.
  2. Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential and familiarity with the Xero accounting system is desirable.
  3. Collaboration: Ability to collaborate across departments, ensuring the smooth running of the finance team.
  4. Flexibility: Hybrid working and flexible hours available.
