Future Select Recruitment seeks experienced professionals to fill the position of Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on water systems, including servicing of temperature and flow valves (TMVs) and chemical dosing equipment;
  • Conduct thorough cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks (CWSTs) and other water system components;
  • Remove deadlegs from pipework to prevent the accumulation of debris and bacterial growth;
  • Clean calorifiers to ensure efficient operation and prevent contamination of drinking water;
  • Adjust pipework to optimize system performance and prevent leaks;
  • Collect and analyze water samples to monitor water quality and detect potential hazards.


Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in water hygiene and remedial engineering, preferably with a City & Guilds or NVQ certification in plumbing;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues related to water quality and system performance;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders;
  • Familiarity with IT applications, particularly those used for data collection and analysis.


The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including training and development opportunities, to support the success of our team members.
