Job Overview

At Innovate, we seek a highly skilled Resource Planner to spearhead our engineering resource management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for allocating and managing resources to drive project success.

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in resource planning, project scheduling, and team collaboration to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecast and manage resource demand, ensuring optimal allocation for upcoming projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement resource management strategies.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to enhance resource utilization and efficiency.
  • Develop and share management reports to provide visibility into resource utilization and allocation.
  • Ensure resource alignment with business objectives and financial planning.
  • Improve productivity by providing accurate resource information and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Support the onboarding of new engineers and develop development plans to track their progress.
  • Identify and address training and development needs within the engineering team.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience managing resources in a complex organization.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, with experience engaging with senior management.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling and resource planning.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Experience working under tight deadlines in challenging environments.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and QlikSense is desirable.
